About The Harker School CIF

Harker CIF is a organization at The Harker School that focuses on proposing approaches to nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. Our mission, as defined by the MIIS Center for Nonproliferation Studies, is to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons with the eventual goal of nuclear disarmament. Students spend about nine months conducting research under faculty advisor Dr. Eric Nelson, and decide upon an idea to focus on for the yearly conference.
